Still no pics, sorry! For some reason my USB ports are on the fritz and my computer doesn't want to link up to my phone. They'll be forthcoming asap.

I got to ride it a little today and this Blast is, well, a blast! I'm already eyeballing some mods for it to give it a little more pep on takeoff, but I really can't complain. I went from a rolling 10 mph or so to 35 real quick and with a short twist of the throttle. I'm going to be running around like crazy tomorrow so I can legally ride it

From what I understand, it is the new manufacturing techniques adopted at Triumph that make their new range so good (and reliable compared to the old Triumphs) . Here's a short video of the manufacturing process they use at Hinckley to create the Rocket IIIs. Very informative

I ride a '01 Road King with ape hangers, no windshield, no helmet. If the temp is above 30'F and the roads are dry, I ride to work.

(I look a lot like my avatar)

BTW.....If it's 85 and sunny, don't bother to wave (ANYone can ride in THAT weather).....if it's 40 and overcast , Hell yeah, I'll wave.....RIDE ON!!!!

Ha ha ... In the Fall I will ride as long as the snow / ice isn't on the road. Riding to work when it is -5C (23F) will really wake you up in the morning.

There's a guy who lives around my area who rides a Ural w/ hack - he goes year round on it (studded tires and a snowmobile suit).

Well, you guys have about pushed me over the edge ... I've decided I want one of those 2009 50th anniversary Bonnevilles. Looks like you can add a center stand and a tach and still bring it in for under $9,000. So I just have to start saving.

.... Of course, by the time I've saved enough, I'll be too old to ride and will just have to hobble out to the garage with a folding chair and admire it!

    ~Rich, just window-shopping, but ain't it fun~

I felt the need to resurrect this thread because I experienced a new finer thing of life. I hopped on my bike in 32 degree weather at night to go for a ride. It cleared my head and was truly one of the finer things in life. I'm not sure what it is, but somehow, riding a bike at night is a truly magical experience.
