I just picked up one of these a little while ago. I think I forgot to mention it. I was too busy riding it.

Thanked: 1Gas prices right now are more moderate in the USA but may shoot up again. The recent higher prices had me looking online at microcars past and present. Many of them are really motorcycles with a car body built around them.
Years ago in my neighborhood a starving college student had a tiny BMW Isetta 3 wheeled car, which was basically a motorcycle with a car body. It had a one cylinder engine and got something like a zillion miles per gallon.

I really like the looks of the Ducati Monster, but right now being a student and all, any motorcycle is out of my pricerange.

Cool, I have 06 Fatboy. I just kinda figured out how to use my digital camera. I'll post some pics...I had several in the past, some rice burners and a couple of Harley's. I agree with you, Harley has come a long way since AMF. Their fuel injection system rivals, if not better than the Japanese bikes. Just something about a Harley. People that put them down or say they're junk usually can't afford one.

Rick, a 7 day set of custom Livi's couldn't make me as jealous of you as that Thruxton

Thanks. It's a very nice riding nimble bike in the twistys although does have a tendancy to feel a bit top heavy at times, but otherwise a great ride.
This motorcycle thread makes me sad as I look outside at 12" of snow and ice knowing that I have at least 4 months of waiting to ride left .....

Triumph Speedmaster. Red and Black. I'll see if I can dig up a photo. One of the finest rides you can get. Lots of history and killer looks.
Nothing like the sounds of good drag pipe blasting out what twin carbs and p twins have to work with.
Cheers
