Yeah, I get it Mike. In retrospect I don't know what I was thinking. It seemed like nothing at the time but I see it differently in hindsight. I am so used to taking pictures of practically everything it was almost without a thought. Sometimes we fail. At least I do.

hehehe-----The bike only has 19,000 mile on it---BUT with the added HP from the cam change the stock compensator isn't going to cut it. This is a HD unit and it will handle the HP. Hell Tc is running a lot more ponies than I am and he's got the Baker in his bike. Anyway it's pretty much a bolt in unit you just need to check on the chain alignment.

The second thing will be a Hayden chain tightener, the stock on keep the chain way too tight, the Hayden keeps the tension on by using springs where the stock uses a ratcheting system. Again the new unit will keep the chain tight but not overly tight.

This is one here is out of stock but I've got one coming:

The third piece will be the Screaming Eagle clutch disc, it's a bolt in you can't really tell any difference but it's made from a different material and it'll add a lot more grip.

I've got some gaskets coming and I'll be all set. This won't happen until next month as some parts are taking till the end of the month to get here, besides I'll be in a better financial position.

Nice, barely run in. You running a power commander with the cams or did someone map the ecu for them?

Coming into winter here and it's the time to buy.
Got my eye on a 08 fatboy with about 2500 miles on the clock.

As I pointed out earlier, it's a Vance and Hines tuner. I'm pretty sure that between the factory (Vance and Hines) program with my cam and pipes and the miles that I've put on it that it's pretty much tuned.

I actually ran into the guy who owned the bike, he's a bit older than me but he said he really didn't really want to sell it but he didn't have anyone to ride with so it just sat there. He also said it didn't sound like a Harley should----------once I get it all done, I'll have to ride over to his place in Dayton and see what he thinks about it now.

Well as I posted here in Post # 742 I'm working on the primary in my Harley. The stock just isn't going to stand up with the added torque that the cam provides.

Anyway almost all is here. Check it out:

This is the primary chain tightener, the stock one works with a ratcheting action and you can't easily un-do it. So the chain runs tight and that's hard on bearing etc.

The Hayden works with springs and keeps the chain in adjustment. The shims are for down the road once the chain gets stretched.

This is the HD Screaming Eagle clutch 'pressure plate'. It provides a little heavier pull on the clutch lever but not too bad.

The gaskets are also here, I bought an extra for down the road, since the shipping charge was the same.

NOW come the part that I hadn't planned on buying till next month----the torque wrench----I got it from MSC Industrial Supply. The had an offer on purchases of over $99.00 but it expired at midnight. The deal was great but would end at midnight. The regular price was $329.36 BUT the discount was only #221.52 so
I pulled the hammer so an additional $12.99 for shipping it was on it's way.

    Well the deal expired but the price stayed the same. Go figure----anyway here it is;

It's a 250 ft lb and the compensator's final torque is 175 ft lbs. I don't know if I'll use it more than once but it's here!

I've got one or two more things coming and then it's tear down time.
