I picked up one of the new CAO Lx2’s today. That is a double Ligero stick. Fancy box, pretty band, very nice wrapper and construction. Still trying to decide if I like. I need to let one sit in the humi for a few weeks and try it again. It was not bad, but I think it was not quite ready to burn.

I just wrapped up a bowl of a Burley, Virginia, Black Cav mix I'm working on. It was quite nice, but I think I might need to add a bit more of the Virginia.

The other day I got my first ever case of Full Moon, Blue Moon's winter ale. I'm not usually one for ales, but I must say, this one is quite good.

Friday Dec. 12 the wife and I along with some family had the pleasure of being guests at the Christmas party of our absolutely favorite Winery-- Heringer Estates at Clarksburg, Ca. and what a party it was!!
They provided us with an excellent dinner and since the wife was kind enough to agree to be the designated driver I was able to sample all the wines I wanted!! What a wonderful evening it was among family and friends and my how I enjoyed their excellent selection of food and vino.
I hope everyone has the opportunity to do something they truly cherish and enjoy at this special time of year.

I'm staying at my brother's place for a week or so. I arrived yesterday afternoon and last night we just hung out and shot the you-know-what for a couple hours. Oh, I also tried the Sammy Winter for the first time ever.
