Do you guys smoke these inside?

if so how do you get rid of the smoke/scent?

I love cigars, but I try to smoke them outside... AND IT'S FRIGGIN COLD AROUND HERE!

I only smoke inside once and a while and when I do I sit next to an open window and keep my ashtray on the window sill. I dont think theres any real way to keep the scent out of your house, many people build special rooms for smoking just for this reason.

Easiest is to just open 2 windows for a few minutes. If it's cold where you are, the room will get aired out very quickly as the cold air enters and the warm, smoky air leaves the room. After that, you can light a Lampe Berger for an hour and it will get rid of the remaining smell.

If you smoke a lot in a given room, you can also install a fan that will suck the air out. Like in a bathroom.

I got to smoke the CAO LX2's last night (two of them actually), and for the price of 6 bucks each, its not a bad 30 minute smoke. Very full bodied and you will be tasting it for about another hour after you are done. Unless you have some nice scotch to accompany it. However, that was not the case last night.

I had a Cohiba Corona Especial (the real cuban) that I purchased in at the Cortre Ingles in Madrid, Spain 21 years ago. I have about 6 remaining from the case and enjoy them on special occasions.

The old Cohibas are so much better than the current production - there are no inconsistencies in the quality. These are top drawer!

    Nothing like a Cuban Cohiba!

I love smoking things that are that old, little piece of history. Shared a lot of sticks new years in a puff puff pass, hope everyone had a good one.

I'm a huge fan of Cohiba Lanceros, I was very lucky that my wife made some 14+ trips to Havana (and I joined her on one) during a University project. Many of the high level members gave me gift boxes as well as my wife buying them from the factory or the Government sales stores. I enjoyed the Cohiba Eslendetos but its a long smoke. The MC No.2 is is also one of my favorates, it has a nice earth and leather note to it and fantastic with a nice Single Malt Islay.

My humidor is empty now. , but I was thinking of picking one up this weekend.

Map111158, one quick work of caution. Leave the zippo in the box. Only light your cigars with wood matches, lighter fluid doesn't taste very good. If you need to use a lighter use a bic or if you must use your zippo ( i used to collect them from my cigarette days ) light it and let it burn for a few seconds before you bring the cigar to the flame. It doesn't solve the problem but at least your not getting a mouth full of lighter fluid on the first puff.

    Cheers
    Karl

I'm smoking a Oliva S right now & enjoying it-!! I have a 300 count humidor with an Cigar Oasis electric humidifier that keeps my cigars just right. I love Padron 1964 & 1926 as well. To keep the smell out of my house I put a box fan in the window of my office that exost the smoke right out. Enjoy-!!!!!
