    Cigars are yet another Aquisition Disorder for me.....I'm running around 500 or so right now. I enjoy a lot of brands: Drew Estate, Ashton, Perdomo, Rocky Patel, Torano, Gurkha and many more....I'm a sucker for a good smoke!

    I just smoked a cigar for the first time at midnight on New Years eve, and it was really quite pleasant! None of us really knew anything about cigars, so we just bought a selection and smoked them out on the porch, after popping the champagne. Mine seemed to last quite a bit longer than anyone else's (It was a "Punch" cigar, like this; is that a good one?) so I got rather cold, but I could definitely see myself making an occasional habit of it.

    Honestly, that was only the second time I've smoked anything, as I'm generally opposed to inhaling smoke at all (and the first time didn't feel worthwhile), but that's one definite advantage of cigars.

    I like the Drew Estate naturals (and the Kuba Kuba acid), Rocky Patel makes some really good stuff too.

    Went to the cigar shop in town today and asked what Keyes (the owner) would recommend to pair with some White Russians. He suggest Perdomo 10th anniversary which i am smoking as a write this. Great flavor, medium to Heavy body maduro. Great chocolate notes to accompany the coffee liquor in the White Russians. Well worth the 6.50 and it looks to be an hour long smoke for a Churchill.

    I was watching Dexter this week.. And it's got these really nice scenes of smoking a cigar in nice warm Miami.. Made me jealous.. It's 20 degrees here, and to cold to go smoke outside.. And no good cigar stores here in town..

    <sigh>
