Thanks Bjorn. I like Don Julio 1942 very much and would drink it more often but at $90 I can buy 2 bottles of Casa Noble Reposado and like that even more. Even the local well stocked Liquor stores don't have too much that I like so I have to have it shipped to me. California seems to be the Tequila Capitol of the US with their choices. Wine and Liquor Depot and BevMo are good suppliers that I use.

Cabo Wabo and Sauza are my favorites right now. I like the silver for making margaritas. I had a small bottle that a co-worker brought from Mexico and I don't remember the name, but it was SMOOOOOOOTH and didn't last long. But, here in Utah, I can't mail order any alcohol. If the local liquor stores can order it, then I can get it. If not, I am out of luck.

Thanked: 293Man I love tequila but I've only ever tried the standards: Patron, JC (all types), sauzas (all types, including 3 Generaciones and Hornitos).
Thanks for posting some of those affordable picks. Can you say tax return at the liquor store?

I am about to try some Scorpion, Mezcal Reposado, apparently they ran out of agave' worms. !!!!
I normally drink Monte Alban, I surely do love the smokey taste. We are a bit limited down under for Tequilas, some bars in my county town actually banned serving it, as too many shearers would get a gut full and smash up the bar !!
cheers
Gordon hic !!!!Keep yo hoss well shod an yo powdah dry !

Hopefully someone will pick up a bottle or two of the Cuervo 250 Anniversario ($2K per bottle) and invite me over. I'll even bring the glasses.
