I carried a Glock 26 for a few years. My friend introduced me to the 1911 and I fell in love with it. I now carry a Kimber Pro TLE/RL II with Wilson mags and a Milt Sparks holster...I really like this setup.

Great choice and a really nice holster. Did you get the 55BN holster?

Even better! I bet you had to wait awhile for that one or did you get it from Lightning Arms?

I got mine from Ebay. It was more expensive, but I got it in a couple days.

It's worth it not to wait. You don't see them very often even on ebay!

Yep and a good one it is. I had the two tone green frame and black slide 4 inch. This one is the 4 1/4 standard Commander length which they stopped making for the 4 inch version.

very nice pistols gentleman i love the 1911 it is my all time favorite but i sold mine afew years ago
i shoot a glock because its standard issue in my department and i have to say i hate a glock .40 with a passion. the grip is too big and i have had jamming problems while qualifing a while back. i bought a xd-40 and it was a great gun but anything smaller than a 45 is like a pea shooter. i traded my xd for a taurus 44 mag raging bull and i am now addicicted to large caliber wheel guns 500 s&w coming soon.
