Thanked: 485I hate fishing and have no idea about fly fishing, but those are two of the most beautifully made items I have seen in my life. Truly, they could sit in an art gallery...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

i love to fly fish , very exciting and rewarding to fool a trout on a pattern you have just tied .. i primary fly fish the Great Lakes region for steelhead but used to hit the western P.A. trout streams every weekend during the spring-fall ... Before the young ones came along it was streams from western O.H. - western N.Y. but now i stay pretty much in O.H. and not working in the winters gives a nice opportunity to have a stretch of water to yourself during the week !

That is the most beautiful rod & reel i've ever laid eyes on. I love your work on pistols but this ..... wow
It indeed belongs behind glass.

I also agree that this is one of if not the most beautiful rods I've seen. I build rods but they are more along the "tactical" look, nothing fancy just functional. This one is like an art treasure, I'm not sure I'd take it out on the water.
