    home brew stores sell new rubber seals.
    They are great for bottling beer, not much else.

    These swing top grolsch bottles are the subject of many discussions on home brewing websites. It appears they are not very good for fermenting because of the pressure buildup but once the process is complete you can use the swing top to close them. I read that some folks can tomato sauce in them.
    Regarding any value, it seems the cost of shipping outstrips the value of the bottle. It is more economical to buy the bottles full of beer from the liquor store rather than buying them empty and paying for shipping.

    Try Googling "Grolsch swing top bottles" and see what you can use.

    Well, since this thread has been resurrected, I've got one of those classic Grolsch bottles with some excellent home-brewed bay rum in them.
