Thanked: 402Oh yes, a big paradisish scratch tree!
With caves, hammocks, platforms and all that luxury!
Or it will be speakers (last week) sofas (all my cats love/d that sofa), loundry baskets (hand made ones from natural stuff, really nice), or even a chesterfield armchair (oh no! / oh yes!).
Mine have a scratch tree but they detest it.

Thanked: 278Not forgetting people. My cat used to love climbing me when he was a kitten. It was funny when I was wearing jeans, less so when I had thin trousers on.

I treat my scratch post with catnip occasionally, consequently Bella has a personal relationship with it.

Here's Max as in Mad Max.He's a lovely colour of grey. When he was a kitten he would run from room to room and bump his head on the door on the way out. He used to hug our leg and run away a little and look back to see if he would be chased. I miss his leg hugs now that he's grown up. I love puss cats so much.

He really cheers us up.When our last cat died,we went for a few months without one and my wife had been made redundant and was depressed. She couldn't stand being without a cat any longer and we got Max.In the months following I haven't heard my wife laugh so much and that's one of my all time favourite sounds.

Thanked: 402Brilliant!
They are heaven sent!
I've been catless for one week within the last thirty years. Hope it won't happen again.
