Different parts of the world have a different idea for their bacons. In the US it's the belly meat and almost always smoked. In Canada it's the loin chop off the back, that is brined? Can't remember... Cheeks, belly, and back meat have all been used to different results. All are good

Rabbit wrapped in streaky bacon and then roasted with all the trimmings and gravy made with the pan juices. Hmmmm where are those lazy ferrets?

Thanked: 235I love a good bacon sandwich during and also after a hard nights drinking. Of course my employers would vigorously disagree.

Thanked: 293Do yourself a favor and make this. It's excessive, but delicious. Cut on a bias and serve on potato rolls with BBQ sauce. We did it recently. I could hear my arteries clogging.

Thanked: 10Bacon
It looks like we can all agree that bacon is delicious, almost like meat candy. I work in the service industry and have always wanted to open a bar or small restaurant. Here in Philly we have a lot of BYO's, small restaurants with awesome food and the best part is that you bring your favorite beverage with you. I think I've decided on a BYO that specializes in bacon i.e. bacon of some sort in nearly all receipes. Any thoughts on wether this might work or if my food ideas need a little more thought?
Some food possibilities:
BLTini - bacon vodka with V8, garnished with lettuce leaf
Deep Fried Beer Battered Bacon - self explanatory
Bacon Noodle Soup
Wisconsin Cheddar Bacon Soup
Elk Filet Wrapped in Wild Boar Bacon
Veal Bacon Ravioli
Bacon Creme Brulee
Bacon Fried Ice Cream
