    Opera,

Somthing about those soaring lyrics and great vocals does it for me. Laying in the sun, eyes closed listening to melodies and the lyrics I don't understand.

Can't play it while I am driving however.

Classical guitar, harmonica solos (except blues), and JMS' nature choices.

Default What music do you find most relaxing?

    My dear Otto,

That recording of Annie-Sophie Mutter playing "Meditation" from Jules Massenet's opera "Thais" (1894) is stunning. Good choice. This is a fine opera, based on the novel by Anatole France.

"Meditation" is one of my wife's favorite pieces of music. She cries whenever she hears it, because the music reminds her of her late mother, who also loved it.

    Regards,

    Obie
