I opted for a Remington 597 instead. Just fit me better. But yeah, if I had any intention to customize it, I would have gone for a 10/22.

Yes it would be easer to ask who doesn't in the USA or if not you did at one time. One of the best all around 22 ever built. And the mist owned? The Marlin/glen field semi auto with the leaves carved in the hand grip Tc

Not this one, though....It's black with nickel barrel and receiver.
Like new, belonged to grandad. Seems to weigh about 2 pounds! You pick it up and fall over backwards!
