They are a great fun car, we have one, a convertable sitting on the lot, has been there all summer, so I drove it quite a bit... The wife loves it, not quite enough to trade her Mustang yet, but it is a car that she has hers sights locked on.... They handle great and have enough zip to be fun...
We also had a MX-5 for most of the summer that I drove the crap outta too, the Mazda seemed quicker, but the Mini was just more fun...

    Nice choice

Congrats Man! A friend of mine has a Mini with racing stripes. I drove it. Surprisingly peppy. I almost bought one, but I'll stick with my stinky old Shelby Cobra....
    We have assumed control !

    Glen,

That's interesting. As a guy who's been racing a Miata for quite a while, I'm quite surprised at that statement. The Miata was chosen because of its fun factor. I guess I just prefer RWD.

A man after my own heart. Will never have a front wheel drive car as long as I can avoid them. I don't know any one else my age who drives a RWD car, it's a real shame.

It's getting hard to find a RWD any more. It's cheaper and easier to manufacture, so that's what the manufacturers are switching to. Put me down as a RWD fan though. There's nothing like spinning the rear out and whipping around a corner at break neck speeds.

Nice Mini! I've always liked them for their styling, but I've never had the chance to go for a spin in one. I hope it's everything you want and more when you get it!

Here's the deal. There's a difference (for me) between a commuter car and a fun car. If you can afford it, you can make one car do both.

I can't. I have a '90 Civic DX hatch. Bone stock, never under 30 mpg. No broken stuff, just routine maintenance. It's slow, boring, and I don't like driving it. But it never breaks and is cheap.

I also have a 1971 Datsun 240z. I drive the hell out of it. I'm getting it to the point where it's daily driveable, ie: beat the hell out of it, break stuff, fix it, flog it more.

She's raw, loud, fun, and consumes my time and money. She also enjoys going at it sideways. Down the road a ways, she'll be my daily.

Yer, I hear that. I have never really been very good at buying transport based on practicality. Currently I have a Yamaha TRX850 and a Reliant Scimitar SS1 1600 (small, two seater convertible sports car. ugly. fun.) - I once had a small hatchback, I never drove it, made a good profit on it though.

The bike is pretty good gas wise, but when it rains, you get wet. The car is rubbish gas wise, and when it rains, you might get wet lol.

Both are pretty rare over here, (they only made 1500 of the car and I've never seen another bike like mine on the road). It's all fun and games.

I'm sure this is very wonderful but what has it to do with Undream's new MINI?
