I only drive in winter time, I have a Suzuki Grand Vitara. But in nice weather I ride my Honda NC700 most of the time

    The not-that-sexy option: 2012 Audi A3 2.0TDI with a DSG6 gearbox. I get 56MPG when I'm reasonable, 52MPG when I'm in a hurry. I haven't tried hitting its max speed yet.

Those pictures are nothing. The car is quite pristine inside and out.

Really like Audis but won't trust a diesel to start here in the winter around here if not plugged in. That is a result of a very bad experience with an 85 Ford diesel truck. Don't want to take a chance on a diesel again.

HAHAHAHA I have had a similar experience a couple of times, but I swore off buying Fords!

A 2011 Ford Ranger XLT. I had an '08 F150 Supercrew that I really liked, but with a nearly 120 mile round trip commute, the fuel consumption was killing me. The Ranger isn't as nice, but it works. If I ever move close enough to work to justify a bigger engine again I'm getting an F250 Supercrew 4x4. I like the extra capacity and the ability to drive further in to where I'm hunting.

It served me just fine at -25C, no idea how it'd behave at lower temperatures nor any inclination to find out I had an A6 3.0TDI and an A3 1.8T before this one. The A6 was neat but we couldn't keep it. I may go for a Skoda Octavia VRS next.

I'm in the market for a new car these days, as my lease on my current one is up come January.
I've spent days looking at various makes, but find it hard to land on that special one just for me and my family.

So far I have look at a Ford, A Nissan, a Subaru, a BMW and of all things a Porsche.
Looks like I need to go see a few more that will eventually tick all the boxes...

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....
