Another Estate Sale Find '74 Sting Ray
Yup, I'm the old guy with the old car.
Went to an estate sale to maybe buy some tools and found this in the neighbor's garage.
Somebody else went to get the money but made the mistake of not leaving a deposit.

Thanked: 227A boring but sturdy 2005 VW Golf. It's head and shoulders above my old focus though lol. Fits the kids and associated kid junk and has a tray of change.

My 2002 Jeep Liberty had a mounting list of things about to go kerblooey, so I just traded it in for a 2011 Kia Soul 2U. It's nearly the same size (an important consideration for my big dog...) but will be way, way, WAY cheaper to operate. And it isn't dissolving, which is nice...
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 227Until this month I was driving a 1.6l 2009 VW Golf, I think in the US it's branded a VW Jetta. My wife has that now and I'm driving a teeny tiny 1l Toyota Aygo, it has no guts and it handles like a go cart.
But it gets me there and back.
