    Default My colection

My daily/ project car is a 1998 GTI way fun! 2.0 ltr all stock but still does all that I need it to do.
Family ride (I have 4 kids and a wife) is a 99 suburban with a 350 4wd all leather cow interior and big brown baby seal eyes for headlights yeah! (sorry for the denis leary reference but the thing is not exactly environmentaly friendly)
My other project is a an 82 ford bronko full size with a 302 and 4spd. This truck came from a friend, who can testify that his wife litteraly drove over a car with it, with that kind of history I can't let this thing die!

I also have a 89 ford f150 2wd for the camper and a mid 80s chev silverado that I inherited when I bought my house they don't run.

I have driven a 99 Camaro v6 the last two years, but now I have to sell it so I can move home and become a poor and carless student once again

Many early 60's Lincoln Continentals, Cadillacs, Oldsmobiles and Buicks have that as an option. Most base models didn't have them, but then again, not many cars had power windows back then either.

I agree, they are neat options.

Well, tonight I can once again truthfully state I drive a 1985 Peugeot 505S. I just replaced the cylinder head on it, (twice) and thought it was a goner. I also have a 1964 Peugeot 404 berline I am restoring. The photos below are not of my cars, just examples. I ride a Ducati ST3 in every season but winter, and a 1967 Honda C70 Passport when the Ducati is in my hangar taken apart for valve checks.

BTW I LOVE the 1950 Buick ( I have had a 1954 Special and a 1955 Roadmaster) , The Lincoln (Dad had one) and the Mercedes 400E. I have and a 1968 250/8 (carbs, manual trans) , a 1977 240D and a 1981 300D. I drove the 300D flat out between Abilene and Midland Texas once, AFTER she turned over 250,000 miles. They're damned tough cars. I want my next car to be a Citroen Dessee.

More of an automotive resume, really, sorry. I am a car junkie.

'05 White BMW X3. The first thing I did when I got it was park as close as I could to the curb so the rims could get a proper curb rash treatment. My next step was to go to the mall and park next to a lady who opened her door like Clint Eastwood entering a saloon for a showdown. In the spirit of giving she decided to share a little blue paint with my passenger door. Funny thing, I was sitting in the car when she pulled up and gave me the ding. Even funnier, people don't bother saying 'sorry' when they give you door dings these days. These days I park out in an abandoned field and walk to stores. My family loves the exercise.
