    Default What are you driving?

Whether or not there's a thread on it already, I figured we'll have one here anyway. The thread is inspired by the "bragging time" section and all the new wheels the guys seem to be getting recently.

    WHAT ARE YOU DRIVING?

    Post pics, too, please!

I'll get a picture of mine tonight and edit back here on this post.

I drive a 2008 VW GTI MkV (pics coming)

Wow - fancy! 2001 Volvo V70 Wagon...plus two car seats (and a rumble seat, but I'm not sure that makes it any cooler...).

A Rolls Royce customized to look exactly like a 2001 Ford E250 cargo van.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

A gorgeous old Buick LeSabre. Drives like a dream; a very large, slow dream. Hence her name: the Lusitania.

Certainly not sporty or glamorous, but I like the smooth ride and having plenty of room for passengers. And with some careful driving, I get a miraculous 27 MPG!

Thanks! Not only is there great wisdom in this remark, moreover now the day ends with a smile on my face!

As for my preferred non-renewable fossil fueled mode of transportation, see here.

Funny. I had the same done to my Rolls, only I had it customized to look like an 89 Ford Bronco. My Bentley was customized to look like a 91 Plymouth Sundance!

Funny the similarities of the people on this sight.

PT Cruiser... first newish car I've owned. Got it a year old on the used lot. Had practically no miles on it and only minor wear. Paid it off early and now have no car payment, woho.

The turn radius on it is terrible but other than that I love it. It's a stick, which was one of my requirements, and has plenty of oomph when I need it. In my line of work (techie/consultant) I need the space but can't leave stuff in the bed of a truck so the back works out great The seats come out and the passenger front seat folds flat. I've hauled everything from a year's worth of recycled electronics to all the lumber, hardware and bags of cement for a new fence. Not at all a bad multitasker.
