Nope. I suppose the whole " A smaller one would be handier" thing is just me trying to justify buying another one.

One of these would be nice to have to:

Same idea as a Cognac Peiffe(sp)

Just one of those antiquated items I found interesting. There is some little known history on were they originated from but I haven't been able to find that info again.

Just buy the 1/2 pint and stick it in your pocket, if you want fancy wrapping they come with brown paper, very traditional. I have to admit though, I thought the Stanley had a lot of class.

I have a "Houdini Faux-Leather Flask" from Target; it was a gift last Xmas from my brother's gf. 6 ozs does me nicely for an evening out. Any liquor that's good warm works - for me thats whisky or scotch.

Anyone know a company making glass lined flasks? New but classic. Leather cover, preferably ostrich.

I have a couple of hipflasks.

I have a smaller brushed steel one, engraved with my nickname "Stubear", and I have a bigger one which is leather bound and engraved with my initials and DOB.

I tend to take them out shooting and they usually get filled with sloe gin!

    I have two of these!

I got them at a vinyard in Australia and they make great port glasses.

I dont use them that often as they're made of such thin glass I'm terrified of breaking them!

I got 4 Reidel wine glasses as well and I only have two now. One didnt survive the flight back from Oz, and one went west when I moved house.

But those little glasses are great, and really unique! Love 'em!

I have two flasks that I carry from time to time, a six ounce thin and tall that usually contains Tuaca or calvados and a vintage one pint, glass with a leather cover and a small threaded shot cup that fits over the cap. I use it when we are taking bourbon to a cold outdoor event of some type.

I now have one, it was part of a 3 for 2 thing and it would have been rude not to seeing as I was buying a couple of other things.

it's only 3oz and it's got 'Jack Daniels' painted on it (will probably last about 5mins) but we'll see if I use it or not and replace accordingly.
