Thanked: 7Baja is more than just desert. I have caught rainbow trout in small streams, surrounded by snow covered pine forest in the mountains. If you saw pictures, you would think it was somewhere in the Sierras, not Baja. Its truly an incredible place. Its really a horrible shame that the current cartel power struggle is creating so much grief for the good, and honest people that live there.

Some beautiful bikes posted. Just ran outside and snapped a picture. 85 Virago XV1000. Took her out last week after sitting all winter and she started right up. Looking forward to some nice weather.

I don't ride yet, but I've signed up to take the MSF course this summer. I'm looking for a used BMW airhead (R75/5, /6, R80/5, etc.). -- Aubrey

Hello all,
New member to SRP and new addition to the motorbike thread.
I have been riding since 1975 - which makes it 35 years on/in the saddle. This is the new addition to my "stable". She's a 1999 YAMAHA "Roadstar Silverado" 1602cc/98ci V-twin. Serial #150 from 6/99. Had her since off the showroom floor! I have added many custom accessories as you can see at first glance. Too many to list. Feel free to ask questions and I will answer those I can.
You all have some nice ones as well. Many different "flavors" here - from custom heirloom types to raging rocket ships from Japan. I used to ride a 4 cylinder 750 Honda. That was in years past. I still own it but it's sitting in the garage waiting for my son's interest to develop. He's 15 now so it shouldn't be much longer before he gets the bug up his behind to fix and get her back on the road. That will be nice when that "urge" finally comes.
Nice to be here! Kindest regards to all....
~Phil
