Any of the forum members ride a bike? If so post your bike/bikes/bike related history and stories here....

I ride a 1998 GSXR 750, 43000 miles, quick as a badger. My bike before that was a GSF600, all in black and 48000 miles when I sold her.

I've got a '98 TRX850, I had a VFR400 before that.

Yeah I get up Portsdown, not as much as I'd like. Doing my nurses training and looking after a 7 month old. Me and a few mates go on the odd ride over to Sussex along the A27, cracking jaunt!

from you I would have thought up the meon valley and a long the 272 would have been a far more interesting way to get into sussex!

Really nice too, one of the UK's top routes, tend to come back that way, best of both . A32 upto Alton's pretty nice too, and you can cut through upto the A34.

Been riding longer than I have driven. I used to ride sportbikes (CBR1100XX Blackbird, 1997, then 2001 models) but have slowed down a bit & now own a Honda VTX 1800F cruiser. I miss the sportbikes soooo much & am actually looking for someone who wants to trade some guns for another Blackbird or GSXR1300.

I ride an '05 Yamaha FJR1300, which is just an awesome bike. I have some pictures of it somewhere, but can't find them at the moment.

There is another thread on motorcycles in 'Finer things...' For obvious reasons it has been quite silent now at wintertime.
However i have 1200 S Bandit '05, Tunturi '79 (local scooter) and 125 LD Lambretta '53.

Here's a picture of mine. A few things have changed since I took this, but nothing major. Quite a rare beast.

Have a fairly heavily customised 2008 harley sportster XL1200C. Am at work so dont have pics, but the damn thing takes on ricers like their riders cant believe . Its what my uncles used to ride when they were in what is now referred to as 1% bike clubs, so the bike has a lot of history for me in that respect.

I have kids now, and not sure how I will take them on any kind of substantial trips on this bike, but at the same time I dont want to get rid of it either to upgrade to a bagger. Might have to convince SWMBO that I need 2 bikes.
