Thanked: 488A New Boomstick:-)
I just got this new AR15/M4 with a 14.5 inch barrel. I'm waiting on the optics to come in but it has most of what I want on it.
Now if it will just get warm enough to go out again:-)

Thanked: 431Sweeeeet.
It's not too cold here in Texas. You can ship it to me and I'll sacrifice and go out of my way to try it for you and report back to you how it goes.

Thanked: 530Oh good God... That's beautiful...
I hate being 18. I can only buy standard Rifles... With my luck, my government will outlaw handguns before I'm 21 and can get one

Thanked: 4Gosh, the gophers in Missouri must be awfully large and vicious. Did you get that at the local Ess-mart?

Thanked: 488Thanks guys! Hey it will warm up sometime--LOL! I've been saving for this one for some time. I was determined to get one with the parts I wanted instead of an off the shelf one. CMMG in Fayette,Mo makes AR's and they will build one to specs you supply at no extra charge.
I got the forged upper and lower reciever, 14.5 inch barrel with a Phantom suppressor, Troy rear folding sight and a MI front folder. I got the VLTOR stock and the free float rail system from Yankee Hill. That free float makes it more accurate because it prevents barrel bounce. Oh yea and a Tango Down pistol grip and an Aimpoint red dot optic coming this week along with a Daniel Defense flashlight mount for my Surefire flashlight. I already had a Troy single point sling and mount for it so I'm good to go. It's a real keeper I'll tell ya that. Talk about excited waiting to pick it up!!!!
They have a retail store in Columbia,Mo and can sell a lot cheaper since they make the rifles.
Here is a business card if anybody wants one sent to their local FFL:-)

A Boomstick??? or a RATA-TAT-TAT-TAT "HECK-YEEAAHH"stick?
If funds were unlimited I'd have one of those tricked out to shoot .243, 44mag or even 22mag.
I've always wanted something in the AR-15 platform.
