That boomstick name came from an old Bruce Campbell movie. He worked at a place called S Mart and was sent back in time or somewhere else anyway to fight the usual walking dead. Since they didn't know what a gun was he called it a "Boomstick" sawed off 12 gauge actually.
    It's a classic movie now:-)

If you wanna kill something why not buy an AK 47? That'll allow you to buy a Livi and still have some change left in your wallet.

Ben.Mid you need to move over here so you can have one:-) At least for now!

Oh yea had an AK but just wasn't that thrilled with it. They just aren't as accurate as the AR.

But they keep going: rain, mud or shine!

I am not a shooter myself but I wonder how a gun like yours can be accurate if you fire many rounds a minute. The recoil will move the barrel off target I would have thought. Or am I now only exhibiting my ignorance?

I hate that not everyone can have these types of guns. I'll never understand why they can't.

Yep, the AK will keep going no matter what. I've never had an AR malfunction either. Of course I'm not dragging it through the mountains of Afghanistan either!

AK's are durable clean or dirty. AR's are great when clean, cause the have a recoil buffer in the stock to make the .223 feel like a air rifle. Which allows to stay on target easier. I personnally prefer M-4 models, little better balance which helps too.
