I try to let my boxes rest in the humi for at least 2-3 months before I smoke one. With the variety I have to choose from, any given box will last a year or more. They just keep getting better. I have a couple of boxes of La Aurora 100 Anos that are at least 3 yrs old, probably more like 5-6 yrs. Maybe 10 R&J 125th Anniversary single bands (the 2nd release) and 5-6 of the original double band; the double bands are over 10 and the single bands a year or two younger; amazing smokes and they get better every time I smoke one. Punch Maduro Maduro (various sizes) between 5-10 yrs; might be the best aging cigar out there.

Are you going to be adding to the thread Austinoire? This thread has been resting peacefully for 5 years or so.

My goal is to add to the thread. No necroposting. But, realistically, I'm so new to cigars (5 mths) that I doubt anything I post would be of interest for cigar veterans. But, I will endeavor try. I read the post and found there was a lot if useful info, despite being dated. But, you tell me. In your opinion, should a separate new thread be started?
