Not calling BS, but I find it funny how most guys I talk to in their 40s and 50s had their dream cars when they were younger. Ill post some in progress pics later of my Audi.

They had their dream cars before they had kids and/or wife, then responsibility set in.
When the kids are out of college, and they retire THEN they have fun.

When my parents were younger, my dad's first car was an MG-A, then a 58 Impala with a 348, eventually a 67 Camaro, 69 Firebird 400, 69 Mustang GT-350, 3 Austin Healey 3000's. 2 1966 Corvettes. Then, my brother was born which started the era of Ranger pickup truck, Oldsmobile/buck station wagons, Ford Taurus, Explorer. Now that I'm out of college and dad is retired they have 2 Bentleys, 2 Jags, 1 Ferrari, and a Pontiac G8. (obviously he came into a bit more $$ later in life as well). So yes, it makes sense that guys in their 40's and 50's don't have their dream car (yet)
