Any other Gin lovers?
What are your favorites and why?
(Mine are Hendrick's - very unique crisp, clean flavor from the cucumber, Tanqueray 10 - nice, light citrus notes with a very clean finish, and Citadelle - again, nice light citrus notes and at a VERY reasonable price (a hidden gem IMHO))Last edited by Malacoda; 04-24-2010 at 04:30 AM.

I like Bombay Saphire but I must say I am not much of a connosseur and am probably influenced by the beautiful blue bottle. Sounds like I need to try some more types. i've only tried a handle on the list.

Thanked: 2I used to go for beefeaters, but after branching out and trying some others, I can't imagine going back. My current favorite is Quintessential. I like the pretty blue bottle, and I love what's inside.

I've had one of my worst hangovers ever from Bombay Sapphire, maybe even worse than i got from Russian Cinnamon vodka, so nowadays i'm not so much after gin.

Just started experimenting with Gin so didn't vote. Don't have a fave yet.
Tried Gordon's,Vickers & Bombay Sapphire & didn't much like them. Gilbey's is ok. Must try Beefeater &/or Tanqueray next. Can't justify the price for Hendrick's atm.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Tried a few of the above as my mum used to like a tipple now and again.
Though after meeting a nice Dutch girl some years ago my favourite has to be Bols Zeer Oude Genever (Dutch Gin)
Very nice straight from the fridge and I was told it's lethal when mixed with orange juice.
