My aunt had 2 Siamese when I was younger and I always loved the color of there eyes they just didn't seem to like anyone other than my Aunt. Is yours social or more a one person cat.

Finally was able to get a picture of my other cat Scratch. She earned this name when I discovered she is afraid of damn near everything. I know it is a blurry picture but you can see she is about to bolt in some direction.

Thornapple we had a red ear my wife found at work for about a year he was about the size of a Quarter when she found him we just kept him for a year then released him. My wife also bred Betas For a while it was interesting to see them build the bubble nest and put all that. Try to post some pics if you get a chance. We are huge animal lovers and are always visiting pet shops. Allot of the time just to look around.

Max that is a very nice looking Dachshund I wish we would have gotten one or a Dachshund Chihuahua mix instead of my wife's Shiba. By the way what kind of camera do you use and have you taken classes. Your pictures are always amazing.

I'm a Nikon shooter. I use a D200 with a 17-55DX and my Nikon Micro-Nikkor 60 mm. I've been wanting to upgrade for a while now but I'm extremely satisfied so I'll wait until it dies on me. Next one will be a Full Frame Dslr.
I never took any classes however I've worked with and been around photographers most of my life. I've always listened, kept my eyes open and learned from watching and asking questions.

Thanked: 2259Here's a Field bred little English Setter that came to us at one year old.
Her Daddy was a Nartional Pheasant Champion about ten years back, and the Dam was also a well known FT dog campaigned nationally by one of the best in the business.
She was the pick of her litter, but her owner, who should have known better, strapped an e-collar on her in an attempt to finish her training early. She rebelled, and was shipped off to the kennel of a friend, who also tried to work with her. He also had a heavier hand than she could, or would tolerate, so she languished in the chain link kennel. She was profoundly unhappy, and just eating enough to keep herself alive!
A few of us try to place FT dogs that don't make the big show into caring, and hopefully working homes, where they will be valued and cared for, but it's not all that easy to find homes.
That was the situation with this little 31 pound female. She was offered to me to try to place in a home, with rights to breed to her later.
To make a long story short, I had become attached to her, and I could not think of a home for her as good as the home I could offer! But, I already had two big running Setters, and did not need another... still, I needed to help her.
I asked my wife to take a ride with me and just take a look at her, and the rest is history!
It took her a long time to overcome her fears. She's been with us now for six years, and is a social butterfly. She doesn't perform in the field the way I like... But I'm forced to trust her judgement and allow this one dog to do things her way! No more e-collars for her!
She has rewarded us by being one of our best dogs ever. I'll never kill a bird over one of her points, but her movement on the ground is just so pretty and she is my constant companion, so she more than makes up for it!
So, here is Sandy, one of the prettiest little Field Setters ever, and the light of my life!
