Man... loving on Cuban's makes me think you like the "twang" lol. So I am guessing you like a cigar with a nice spicy retro hale. Hmmmm... so many !

What kind of body do you like? Earthy? Floral?
How about strength? Do you like the nicotine?

I think a great way to get into non-Cubans if you love on Cuban's is to try some Don Pepin Garcia love . I like the Blue (black is good too) line: Don Pepin Garcia Blue Cigars

Of course most guys who have no imagination but allot of money buy Padron... and for good reason. I am partial to the 1964 line in maduro, but the natural is going to probably be more up your ally: Padron 1964 Anniversary Natural Cigars

The "coveted" Liga's are expensive but - yum! Liga Privada No. 9 Cigars | Buy Discount Liga Privada No. 9 Cigars

There are many.... So many lol. But it's kind of hard to know what you would like. I smoke a bunch of "value" lines of cigars as I smoke too many cigars to enjoy an expensive cigar every day. The above are not what I would consider value lines - but compared to Cuban's.

Hope that helps just a little .

I don't have a lot of money and I buy Padron. The 1964 is a great series but for $5 bucks a cigar the Padron handmade series is pretty good also. The Churchill for example starts nice and gains strength and at half way down it taste just like a 1964 series.
This morning for me it is an Alec Bradley. A good smoke with a new book to read while smoking a couple of briskets

    Perdomo Lot 23 Natural Robusto, 5 x 50.
Fine cigars with a great flavor.
"An oily robusto with a great draw. It has a very leathery core complemented by cedar, coffee and orange peel notes. Rich and tasty".
