Glad you enjoyed it! Glad you had it for "breakfast" too lol! That's what it is for me. A great breakfast cigar with a nice retrohale.

Thanked: 36Just had the Hawk 1968 robusto I ordered a few days ago. It was ok, generally tasted of toasted bread and toasted nuts, with bread crusts, a bit of spicy sweetness in places, musty wood, coffee, and marzipan towards the end. I got a but of a charcoal kind of taste in places but wondered if that was because I was smoking it too hot. I started a blog recently for whisky tasting notes and will probably include my cigar notes on there too.
I should have waited for my cutter to arrive I think. I cut this one with the razor blade again, but messed it up a bit and it started to unravel a bit. I mostly got away with it, but the wrapper came off when I had about 2 inches left, but it was getting a bit hot and stingy by then anyway and it was starting to rain so I decided to call it a day.
