I have only smoked the Prensado, the Family Blend and the Black Market
I like them all but i cant put them along side any of my favorite cubans.

Oh, I'm not trying to rub it in though!

So its been a while since I have smoked anything "new" or at all - what with all this snow here lately. But the weather has picked up and today just seemed like the day to lite up this Macanudo that was so generously given to me by Famous Smoke here about two or so months ago.

    What's this? A cigar that doesn't need a humi!?

Now here's the thing - I don't like Macanudo's as a rule. I like a Connecticut wrappers even less, but what's cool about this cigar was the packaging. Labeled "Locked-In Humidity," this has to be one of the greatest Idea's EVER!! No humi needed!

Nice packaging really - informative too!

Like I said, the cigar didn't interest me, but the packaging did! So I guess the question is, how did it smoke. Well very well, thank you for asking lol.

That's right!! No shoes needed outside today!! Woot.

Seriously - I hate this cigar but it's smoking like a champ! This packaging is freaking awesome because it works. It's a "little" dry but dang, I really hope everyone starts doing this - what a great freaking idea!!

Nat Sherman Timeless Dominican Collection Divinos, 5 x 50.
    Interesting and tasty cigars.
"The Divino, an unusual little perfecto with a blunted head and a skinny foot, has a complex mix of rich flavors, including a touch of maple, some leather and an earthy finish".

Hey David, I'm seriously jealous with all that snow you have there
I picked up a 5er of Macanudo's at the border last trip through and I have to say YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUK!
worst crap I've ever smoked including Swishers!
    JMHO of course.
I'm still here waiting for the melt! and if it doesn't come soon, I'm getting in the car and pointing south at Detroit!

LOL Mike - well drive on until you reach Kansas. I'll keep you in smokes and beer .

Yeah I'll would never give up KS weather for S. Ont. weather lol. But note this - this morning we had snow and gusts up to 50mph! By 2pm things settled down, and by 2:30 we were up to 50F lol!! It was a crazy weather day. And to top that off, they think there will be tornado warnings tomorrow... Man!!

Yeah, as you note, I don't like the Macanudo's. I am not surprised that you don't either lol... I mean you are a Cuban Cigar Whore after all lol! You lucky...

Anyway, today I had to make an emergency run to find a new French press. Mine mysteriously decided to break today?! You know, I buy so much on-line that I didn't know where to go. I finally found "the place" to go for all things French Press in my town but I needed a companion to keep me company as I searched.

This cigar stayed lit on every excursion. Not that I messed around - in the store I went, "Excuse me, do you sell french presses." But the cigar waited for me on every stop, and tasted just as good as it did when I left each time I returned lol.

Its supposed to freeze back up on the weekend so who knows.
    I'll post a pic tomorrow.
