Enjoyed a pipe of this old Penzance this afternoon. I think the years of age have been very good to this tobacco. : )
Tried some of the Happy Bogie rope in the Castello Sea Rock that I've been testing the ropes in. Had some high expectations for this from some reading I did and they were not met. I liked the Brown Irish X much better and it was more flavorful. This just seems a little bland.
Back to some of the 4th Generation 1855. It was very nice following a great Easter dinner with some neighbors.

I smoked some Drama Reserve in a Parker, but the wind was so strong I had to extinguish the pipe a few times to keep it from getting too hot and losing its flavor. Perhaps I need a wind cap.
Been stuck on Bayou Morning is a little black saddlebit Sea Rock all day long, probably about 8 bowls.
An Ashton 'Old Church' EXEL Canadian that I smoked tonight with Early Morning Pipe. The 1929 Half & Half tin in memory of my father, who smoked that stuff more than anything, if he ever did smoke anything else. :chapeau
