took a 10 dollar estate pipe and did a little rustic work to it. looks better live.

well i got this piece of briar and not sure where to start. guess i just start sanding. was thinking about leaving the briar on the top around the bowl.

IMHO that looks a perfect piece to make a freehand type pipe, but it is up to you of course. Just remember to post the pics once you got it made, and maybe some of the progress too. I highly respect everything that is self made, makes them unique. Originally Posted by buckeye
