Been into pipes for a while but first post here. Just finished my first pipe from a briar plateaux block, and it smokes wonderfully. The stem is ebony, rosewood, and mammoth ivory. Everything's finished in shellac.

Smoked a bowl of OJK in the benton as I worked on my HD shotgun build, and cleaning up an old S&W .38 special. Then for desert I had a bowl of Uni flake in the pete system as I sharpened knives. So far I have the shotgun half finished and am just waiting on more funds to finish the build, but as it sits it will fit the purpose to a acceptable degree. I'm waiting to get the sig back from the factory, after I sent it in get night sights added, finish touched up and and the internals tuned. Even with the added cost of getting it worked on I got it for a steal.
GI - hang in there I know what you're going through. Spring break for me was a 20 page paper and a 55 hour work week. good luck
