My bad I'm half awake lol yup haunted bookshop is HB . I ment mccelland VA tobacco is tasty. No other VA tobacco like it in my opinion.
I'm half with ya there. My pilots mix is a Mclleland bulk and it's awesome as I have stated many a time and I get a lot of nice compliments on the room note. I do like MacBarens Virginia No. 1 ,it's slight;ly bitey but nice and sweet and will be trying some Sam Gawiths Virginias soom maybe. It's weird hits and misses. I just got a tin of Erinmoore and although could smell the characteristic fruitiness so many have mentioned, I found it rather blandish. Dunhill Virginia flake I have found to be a bit better than neutral and I use that for work.
Saturday late evening home coming pipe. Veermaster flakes from Lorenzo. Neuzeller season beer.

Speaking of Old Joe Krantz, I'm burning some in a Whitehall Grand National, even as we speak. My side is a glass of George Dickel Tennesee sippin whiskey with just a dash of water. Very Nice.
Haunted Bookshop and Old Joe Krantz are both the brainchild of my friend, the late great Bob Runowski. They are very similar in composition but HB is much lighter (far less Perique) HB is just OK for me. Old Joe Krantz however is hands down the best pipe tobacco I've ever smoked (YMMV and all the standard disclaimers apply) but both are burley based blends with Virginia tossed in as seasoning.
If you like straight up Virginias I'd recommend Three Friars and Guilford Courthouse. These are both by Cornell and Diehl and are Virginia based blends with other stuff tossed in as seasoning. I've never been much good at Virginia myself, unless it's used as seasoning and floating in a sea of burley.
sitting in a blind. For my walk out. Didn't want to chase them away!

Sorry it is sideways!:rofl2:
At the Market itself. They got a tent. You have about three choices of Beer and you can get it in either a plastic cup or they have two sizes of Beer mugs that you can by and have filled. Mine was the German pint but the other is like a liter I believe. And that beer tasted very good. Given the fact I don't drink an awful lot anymore, it went down very well.
