Guess i've had here some pics of this before, these go to Steph the Blade who recently asked about Järvenpää knives.
Here's the one and only i have. Järvenpää leuku.
They were issued in the army. I got mine some 25+ years ago from army nco/unteroffizier institute.
Leuku is very big knife so pretty soon everyone discarded theirs and started carrying their own, smaller and more handy knives instead.
Mine has taken some damage: i've used it as a hammer or axe or whatever. One night back then i forgot it at the top of the stove and so the handle got some markings too. Nowadays i use mostly it for chopping firewood only, so i keep it sharp.
Here's the knife itself and the steath with army nco sign and the wolverine:

Here you get some of my knives manufactured in Finland.
As Tomi said...for daily using...
Here is a Gaudy Meerschaum pipe carved as Bacchus I got the other day. I am going to have fun to try to get it colored. I am surprised that it has yellowed so fast. It was bright white and this is the 5th bowl. The main trouble is that the bowl is to big and takes over an hour to smoke a 3/4 fill. Trying some Southern Twist that is good if it is dried out a little. I thought I would add my Frosts knife that a neighbor got on a trip to Sweden. Been abused and starting to show a little "patina" and is an excellent blade. And inexpensive! My main complaint is that the Swedes must always wear slim dress style belts. I would carry it much more often but the sheath won't fit on my belt.
