Fun day today....went down to the smoke shop with a gift card I got from work.Picked up another Viking pipe. I have two of'em. Nice Danish pipes. Had some nice black cherry mixed with a wee bit of sweet virginia in it. Good smoke. Best part however was the estate pipes I got to check out. Some fella apparently came in with two boxes full of beautiful estate pipes. I got to check most of'em out before they went onto the shelf. I made a list of what I got to see. Comoys of London,Dunhill,Sassini (4 dot),Savenelli,G.B.D,Stanwell(thought about ya E-Tom) and a really neat looking Butz Choquin Churchwarden with a 2 part stem of bamboo with silver trim.. The pipes were in excellent condition and most were of a deep brown or mahogany color with black stems and a lot of them had big deep bowls. Very nice treat indeed. So here's the Viking...sorry I was not able to get pics of the estate pipes..my bad.....Name: 001.jpg

It's been too long since I had a browse on here, some lovely pipes as usual. Corn cobs seem to be something I should have cut my teeth on yet missed out on completely. I'm going to get one soon to make up for it...
