Consider yourself lucky man Thomas for not being served in the Finnish military. We have it every single morning and not much else. Hard rye bread, ham and/or cheese sometimes. Blueberry kissel. There's a text in bread packet wrapper saying: 'for prisons and military only'.

Nothing wrong with porridge specially when done properly, imho. Pretty good with either sugar or strawberry/raspberry jam. Of course too much is too much. I don't much eat it when having a change to stay home.

Sorry friends, I'm a bad boy.
I'm sure when I would be hungry enough I would eat it and it would be fine.

    Never mind my friend.
We all have our favorites and their opposites. I do not eat shrimps, lutefisk or mämmi. No matter how much people keep telling me they are ok. My wife doesn't eat anything with a horse meat with it, so i do not have much changes to eat it either. No allergy, intolerance or anything like that. I just don't. Must be psychological thing or something.

Might be or then not that this is bit milder in nicotine. Hard to say for sure. Will get few tins more and let them sit at my drawer for at least 6 months. Good stuff anyways.
Have to take another try; this time with a beer.

That's an awesome picture and and awesome pipe as well Sailor......Looks calming. I hate where I live. Concrete crapsville !

Hehe....ahhh okay, at the risk of seeming a bit provincial which I really am ha ha..... That actually sounds kinda tasty. Providing if the porridge was good quality as was the rye bread , ham and cheese and Kissel....I mean it actually sounds good. But I suppose if it's institutional quality then it would be hideous !

Well .... all I can say is, many a fine Scottish lads were raised on it and since my Step father was from Glasgow, It was inevitable. But as stated , it's all about the quality of ingredients too. Otherwise a shoe is just a shoe with ketchup on it so to speak. Yeah...well....never said I was a great philosopher or anything, it's all I got.

No difference in the tobacco. But IMHO, it's the difference between drinking a pint of Guinness out of a proper pint glass or drinking it out of a plastic cup. I like the tin experience more than I do the alternatives.

No,a shoe is just a shoe, a shoe with ketchup on is just a shoe with ketchup on, however a shoe that desires to be covered in ketchup is a pervert :-)
