As for tobacco, it may take me a bit until I pull the trigger. I'm considering Owl's Head or Trout Stream or Captain Black.
NoseWarmer will disagree but I would stay away from the Captain Black.

Thursday evening pipe after being at work, away from home, for way too long.
Erinmore flakes from Savinelli Autograph. Lager on the side. Perfect.

If I may make one possible suggestion, you might look into PS Luxury Bull's Eye Flake...

I nice mix of Virginias and Black Cavendish... And it should not ghost your pipe...

"A blend of ripe Virginia tobaccos spiced with pure Louisiana Perique. The center of Black Cavendish smooth's out the taste. The outer blend is pressed into thin layers before being tightly spun around a stick of pressed Black Cavendish. The result is a massive ‘cigar’ which is cut into ‘medallions’ and packed. Lightly aromatic, medium strength. Most enjoyable on its own. Select 2 to 3 slices – rub gently by hand and fill the pipe lightly"

Lane LL7 in my basket briar Lovat. I opened my can of G L Pease "Jack knife Plug" yesterday and it looked like a yeti! White furry mold on it. That was strange.

I've smoked two of the three you mention. I'm not really an aromatic guy but Trout Stream in my humble opinion is the best of the genre. It has kind of a butterscotch room note to it but it doesn't smoke as sickly sweet or syrupy as most aromatics. The other that I've smoked is Captain Black. I won't besmurch it since has iconic status in the pipe tobacco world, it just happens that I don't care for it much. For me there's not nearly enough vitamin N and it smokes a bit soapy. However mixed 50/50 with Prince Albert it becomes pretty smokable.

A Cobb full of Ratrays Old Gowrie. That's 2 Ratray blends I've got, and must say I really like both.
