Not being a great aromatic smoker, but sometimes for a change of pace and now I see the thistles in the country roadsides are in bloom, I could not resist: "The Flower of Scotland"
So yesterday evening pipe was Rattray's Bagpipers Dream into a Stanwell #03

Trying Dunhill Aperitif from Jesper pipe. While helping wifey to clean todays catch: strawberries from the local farm, blueberries and mushrooms from the nearby forest.
I've tried this blend only one or two times before. Dunno why. It's very good. Very oriental stuff.
edit: helping her was worth it. Wifey made these. Propably recibe by her, i've no idea. At least there's vodka and crushed strawberries.

This 'pipestud' or whatever is a shoe tree (i have no idea of the English term). My kids did find it while playing in some old ruined industrial area in the city years ago. Must be 20 years ago. And brought it to me. Didn't find any use of it except as a pipe stand. Never mind the rust.
Nothing wrong to see a trea as a pipe stand also. It's up to imagination.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'
