Nice puppies. They seemed to have full throttle while running around. Thanks for sharing.

Me and you have the same taste in beers it seems. I was knocking back a couple of PBR's last night thinking about the ones you posted then I see that you like the Yeungling. Do you like Shiner by any chance??

When I lived in Texas I drank Shiner Bock like it was my job. It's kinda hard to find here though.

I am a big fan of Shiner. The lady down at the Liquor store keeps a good stock. Did you ever try the Shiner smokehaus?

I am in the same boat with the Yeungling I can't get it down here.

Nope, never sampled Shiner Smokehaus. I may need to go make the rounds and see if I can find it anywhere. Once in a very blue moon I can find limited quantities of Shiner locally but it's pretty scarce. Yuengling on the other hand, is everywhere. Oddly enough, I had never drank Yuengling until a couple years ago, I had a sudden inexplicable craving for dark beer. I went into the grocery store and there it was, Yuengling Black and Tan. I've been a fan every since.

Anyway, back on topic: Today I burned 3 good bowls of C&D Billy Budd in a Kaywoodie Flame Grain Meerschaum (a nice piece of briar with a meerschaum lined bowl). It's real simple fellas, this tobacco is the poo! It's normally a dead heat between this stuff and my all time favorite, Old Joe Krantz. On a day like today, I'd probably call it Billy Budd by a nose. My next TAD order will probably include C&D Epiphany another wonderful burley/light latakia blend.
