    NOT stupid Thomas, just over-simplification!

On another thread there were MANY posts on the subject of "what makes an extra hollow grind?" and do those razors that claim that description really deserve it. Hollow and Extra hollow ground razors both shave. It was an interesting discussion for many.

My take right now is (I'm open to correction and discussion):

Thomas' Les Wood with straight, diamond shank is definately a Bulldog.

Alex' GBD is a Rhodesian for the reason of a quarter bend and maybe because of the round shank. But...can still be classified as a Bulldog because of the bowl? I'm not sure if round or square shank makes a difference?

Bullmoose is the most inclusive definition which includes all shapes with short, squat bowls?? My quarter bent Savinelli Porto Cervo would fall under this definition and it has an apple shaped bowl.
I love quarter bents and I'm a fan of apple shaped bowls.Thank you for this helpful info ! My next purchase is going to be a Peterson Darwin for this very reason.
