Only my fourth pipe smoked but much, much better than the previous three. None of the prior "re-lighting" issues I was having. I think I was actually packing too loose and being too delicate. Was able to enjoy the flavor and aroma of the tobacco much more on this bowl than my previous three.
Man, the more I see your Nording, the more I want another one lol, and both tobaccos I have from Just For Him have been awesome. How was the Treebeard? Now, on to my smoke this afternoon....

Pipe: Erik Nording Signature Rustic Freehand
Tobacco: Just For Him "Shortcut To Mushrooms"

I got something neat the other day, a Vector Thunderbird butane pipe lighter insert for my Zippo. I'm loving it, works great.

I'm not sure that I'm qualified to review tobaccos on my fourth pipe smoked. In fact, I'm not sure my opinion right now would even be fair since the "treebeard" was the only tobacco so far that I actually enjoyed. It had a mild sweetness to it and a mild aroma that I really enjoyed. I would say it tasted like it smelled and I would consider that a good thing.

I also have the "Shortcut to Mushrooms" but that smoke last night was not as enjoyable. I do not blame that on the tobacco though and I will try the STM again tomorrow night. I really love the smell of the STM out of the bag...it is so "earthy."

With my limited knowledge, the "Treebeard" and "Shortcut to Mushroom" seem similar to me, but I'm still acquiring a taste.

What may have a little bit to do with that is the fact that your pipe is just barely starting to get broken in. As you get more of a carbon "cake" built in the bowl, your smokes will get better and better tasting. I've had a couple tobaccos so far that I was unsure about until I got a couple of my pipes more broken in, then they were much better. Just my 2 cents, I'm no expert.....

I got one of those a few weeks ago, and I gotta say its a wonderful little device. I got 15 smokes out of the initial butane filling before i had to refill and i'm loving that product. My only complaint (the only one i could ever think of) is that it's REALLY snug in my Zippo. Not sure if that's a reoccurring theme with these inserts, but its almost like the size is just a wee bit too big. Still works great-- just a little difficult to remove the insert.

Getting my camera ready so i can start contributing!

Mine is a little on the snug side as well but not to the point that I'm worried about it. No get some pics up! The more of us in this thread, the better!
