    Default Zippos

Before my newfound obsession in straights, I collected, and will continue to collect Zippo lighters.

For the smoke, I'll smoke anything at least once, excluding heroin, crack, or whatever the name is for the next narcotic invention.

The down side is Zippos don't work in a Jeep in the summer. In the winter, a Zippo can warm a Jeep.

I am in that group that goes "PING" most often it's the one in my avatar pic. It's an older Dupont but I love it. I am about to buy an IM Corona Old Boy (that is a good lighter). Other than that I have several Zippo lighters that I don't hardly use any more.

I prefer matches (to be quite honest) for pipes and cigars, but I smoke cigarettes so I carry a lighter at all times.

Dunhill Unique in gold. I'm not certain, but I believe only the sterling silver model in available now.

That's for pipes, for cigarettes, any flame will do.

Good ole Zippo works for me. I used to have a beautiful Colibri butane that the mechanism finally went on..it had the altitude adjustment and all that jazz. My wife bought me a nice Zippo butane but the darn thing only seems to work half the time if that. So back to tried and true

For cigarettes I use a Zippo; my current carry is a 2002 sterling silver with my name that the wife got me as a gift.

I've some 70 Zippos in different states of use, from mint in the box to 'did you hit that with a hammer?'.

For cigars either a butane el-cheapo single flame or wood matches.

I quit 19 years ago but still have my zippo's and other lighters. Don't have a pic of my brass trench lighter, carried that for years...

The absolutely best lighter I have ever owned is this, a Davidoff St. Dupont, the same size as the Ligne 2 and with the famous "ping".
