publisity
right now i think peta is whats really hurting us there gettign famous people to ditch fur and thats creating less of a demand we need to get the message out that mother nature is a bitch to animals if there populations get to high iv seen the dieases that can star tto spread PETA needs to realize that a trappers gun or club is a lot more forgiving than mage or starvation. if we could get some good publisity toward wild furs i think the demand would pick back up

Straights and trapping kinda go together, not to many folks doing it like they use to.But they sure are fun!!! You should think about joining the Penn. Trappers Assoc. they have Fall round up and they have all kinds of demos put on buy expert trappers, you will learn something there for sure, plus you can get some equipment and luers.

A 1.5 coil is great for fox and coon, up here in New Hampshire we can put a 160 conibear on the ground ,in a cubbie or bucket for coon, You will have to check with fish & game to see what the biggest conibear you can put on the ground in your state. Up here i trap about 40-50 beaver,we have a limit of 10 otter and 5 fisher not alot of mink but then again i only put out about 10 mink sets and maybe catch 5 and i might go after the muskrats a little more this Nov. Iam mostly a water trapper, and cant forget some coons too, and some white ermine.
