This one's for Mephisto!
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Well, it's Fathers Day again. While I don't have any kids, I am the son of a truly Good man and the best father I could have hoped for. Kind, loving, supportive, demanding, and so strong in every way, he brought the best out of me and taught me what it really means to be a man. I always respected him, never feared him, and always wanted to be him. In short, he is the opposite of guy who inspired Eddie to write this song (who dedicated it to "the bastard who married" his Mom).
This goes out to my Dad, and to all the other fathers who have *been* the better man.

Leonard Cohen's greatest hits for ironing the other day - it seems to be my ironing music at the mo, and mercury rev, the secret migration over a cuppa at work. Might put bowie on next.
