Thanks scap99. My son thought metallica wrote and composed that song..He knows better now. Metallica does a good rendition..but doesnt even compare. I bet Ennio Morricone could do that song in his sleep.

I think what impressed me the most was that during the 'before the performance interview' when he talked about 'his size' and that the comments about it starting at a young age had really diminished his self confidence and that if it wasn't for Charlotte's help and friendship he probably won't have gone on stage.

I also find it ironic that when the two of them walked on stage Simon leaned over and said "Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse" and later signed them to the record contract.

When they were touring she had said that she knew that the people came to hear Jonathon.

Apparently they parted as friends as they had different ideas of what they each wanted to sing.

I wish them both well and I'm glad that you enjoyed the post.

Most people agree that Duane Allman was one of the greatest guitar players of all time but to have him and Dicky Betts (who in my mind is on par with Duane Allman) in the same band is just outlandish.
