I've been a fan of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band since the 70's and I've been privileged to see them perform twice. The first time I drove over 300 miles one way where they opened for Sawyer Brown the next time I drove 35 miles when they played at my hometown's fair. My oldest daughter was standing in front of the stage, she knew the words to every song and the band tossed her hat's picks and other items. She was thrilled!

The stayed for 3 hours after the show to sign autographs, pose for pictures, talk to their fans etc.

I"d like to dedicate this to a man I'm proud to call a friend. He's a fussy old bastard that lives back in the boonies of Northern Idaho. He's helped not only myself but thousands of others by his experience, knowledge all gained by personal experience and through experimentation and he's done so by unselfishly sharing that experience, knowledge and passed it on as wisdom.

Those boonies that he lives in is amongst some of the most beautiful areas in our great nation and I envy him.

I hope he enjoys this. There is nothing wrong with your sound level, it just starts out very quiet:

Default Vera Lynn - We'll Meet Again

Was at my Mum's tonight for her birthday dinner...and she was playing some of her favorite songs.

This came on, one of her favorites, a song that evoke's profound thoughts and memories for her, and is a classic, beautiful song in my opinion.

Mixed emotions when you share your birthday with the passing of, I think anyway, the greatest guitar player that ever graced the planet.

    Janis Joplin
One of the great voices of rock. Big Brother is a very under appreciated band.

A little of Uncle Ted on the 4th of July and in Detroit here's the Motor City Madman Himself. I think the crowd likes it.
Well it sure looks like it at the end.

    Ho, mo leannan bhoidheach Alba...

While watching a stream of the BBC's coverage of the referendum tonight, I've had a lot of Runrig in my head. And while the result appears not to be heading towards what I was hoping for I want to commend Scots voters for a stonkingly GREAT turnout. It will be interesting to see what the long-term outcome of this vote will be.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
