Caught this on last week and managed to record it in 7.1 surround; not sure if youtube can pick up how good the sound engineering was on the original broadcast. Cantrell's sound, especially when he kicks the pedal, is amazing.

The bourbon is bring out my inner redneck this evening. This is another favorite. Great writing here. I'm not a big fan of modern country but this is a favorite:

You can't be too careful with malaria, you know. For me, the summer is just to hot to drink liquor and I'll generally drink beer during the hotter months.
Almost the same routine for me, less the tonic, I run my gin along side vermouth instead. Like the malaria angle, will exploit that line next spring, hehe.
Beer season being so much shorter up here I opt for stronger stuff, ie Bock-ish brews @ or above 6% alc content. Although I like nearly everything cept for pale ale.
Now as for want I am listening to today.

It's a tradition in our house to listen to Christopher Walken reading Poe's The Raven every Halloween.

"Delerium Tremens" was mentioned over in the beer of the day thread, so of course I have this in my head now...

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I hope all will enjoy. Tommy Emmanuel playing a melody of Beatles tunes. He's scheduled to play in Portland OR in the spring of 2015. How I wish I could attend
