    Been honing with some John Lee Hooker in the background so I thought I'd share a couple.

    Here's an audio;

    And a video;

    Lucinda William's second version of "I Lost It" the more "rocked out" version from "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road" Great stuff!! Before that< i was actually listening to a couple of tunes on Youtube from the "Songcatcher" movie soundtrack including ones by Emmylou Harris, Maria McKee. Patty Loveless and even a very young Emmy Rossum who was like 13 or 14 at the time an only about a year or so removed form singing in the children chorus at the Metropolitan Opera. A substantial stylistic shift deftly performed especially for such a young artist.

    Skip James can be kinda hit or miss, but this is one of my favorite song that he did. Do yourself a favor and watch this.

    As he playing a Martin D-18 there or a copy? From what I have read, early on, he played a Stella 12 string jumbo strung with 6 strings.

    Here's a little something from back in the day. If you're not familiar with the tune, it changes 'Pace' about 1/2 way in;

    And here's something from them as a resurrected band, and this was 12 years ago;

    I do hope all will enjoy. I got to see them play 8 years ago and it was a great show! 4th row, just off left center, they played for an hour and 1/2, finished the set with Sweet Home Alabama, took a very short break and finished the show with what else? FreeBird

    My two youngest children were with me (aged 13 and 16) and they knew the words to Every Song!
